The Regus Group, the world's largest provider of fully furnished and equipped offices, on Thursday opened the doors to its first centre in Malta. This centre in Swatar is expected to draw business from established companies in Malta, as well as cater to the needs of firms scheduled to start operations on the island in the near future.
"There are a number of sound reasons for doing business in Malta," said Olivier de Lavalette, Regus vice president EMEA for Southern Europe.
"A reasonable cost of living, pro-business environment and excellent communication structure is very appealing to foreign companies and is producing a new generation of entrepreneurs."
"Companies may now establish a physical presence in this burgeoning market with minimal risk and up-front capital outlay. Whether it's a full time office, meeting room or virtual presence, Regus has the right office package for Fortune 500 companies or a small business. And, our BusinessWorld program caters to mobile workers providing them access to professional day offices, meeting rooms and lounges anywhere in the world."
Over 400,000 clients a day use Regus Group facilities spread across a global footprint of 1,000 locations in 450 cities and 75 countries.
