CSB Group is deeply rooted in a culture that places a high value on charitable fundraising and Corporate Social Responsibility, thus it is proud to share that it hosted a Pink October Fundraising Event, dedicated to raising funds and awareness for two remarkable organisations: the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation and Europa Donna Malta. This fundraising event took place at CSB Group, offering a delectable spread of sweet and savoury treats to employees who came together, dressed up in pink, to show their commitment to breast cancer awareness and these noble causes.
One of the charitable foundations that funds from this event will be going to is the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation, a devoted non-profit organisation that has been diligently working to provide support, education, and advocacy to breast cancer patients and their families in Malta. Their mission revolves around increasing awareness, offering emotional support, and providing crucial resources to those facing the challenges of breast cancer. Moreover, the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation actively promotes early detection and regular screening as essential tools in the battle against this disease.
Proceeds from this event will also be going to Europa Donna Malta, a local branch of the pan-European organisation, Europa Donna, committed to improving the lives of women with breast cancer across Europe. Europa Donna Malta focuses on raising awareness about breast health, advocating for high-quality breast cancer care, and supporting those undergoing treatment through to recovery and life after treatment and possible reconstructive surgery as well as supporting their families. Their comprehensive efforts include educational programs, support groups, and various initiatives aimed at making a positive impact on the breast cancer community in Malta.
