Last Friday, CSB Group brought its staff together for a day of fun, collaboration, and team spirit with a unique team-building event. The day kicked off at Can You Escape? at Ta’ Qali Crafts Village, where employees were split into groups to tackle immersive escape room challenges and interactive quizzes.
The day began with a light breakfast and hot beverages, providing the perfect opportunity for colleagues to connect, catch up, and enjoy some relaxed conversation before the challenges ahead. It was a moment to recharge, share a few laughs, and set a positive, energetic tone for the team-building activities that awaited.
The first challenge of the day saw teams taking on a series of captivating escape rooms, each with a unique theme, from a detective investigation and a prisoner breakout to a jungle adventure and a mysterious manor. Teams had to work together, piecing together clues, decoding puzzles, and thinking creatively under time pressure. Collaboration and communication were key, with most teams managing to escape in time, highlighting their teamwork and quick thinking.
Following the escape rooms, the teams tested their knowledge and reflexes with a series of quizzes. These ranged from general trivia and rapid-fire questions to high-energy “first to buzz” challenges, with rounds where participants raced to identify songs at the buzzer. The quizzes added an energetic and competitive twist, encouraging colleagues to think quickly, strategise as a team, and enjoy plenty of laughter along the way.
After the exciting activities, the teams wrapped up the day with a leisurely lunch at Vecchia Napoli. It was the perfect opportunity to unwind, reflect on the day’s adventures, and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed, casual setting, savouring a variety of delicious pizzas whilst enjoying wine and refreshing beverages.
