Zammit & Associates – Advocates Rebrands

With effect from the 1st October 2012 Zammit & Associates – Advocates has changed its name to CSB Advocates with a view towards consolidating its brand identity with that of the CSB Group, an associated group of companies.

Dr Andrew J. Zammit, managing and founding partner of the law firm says: “This move reflects a milestone in the firm’s evolution, and has been devised within the collective strategy of offering a wide spectrum of complementary legal and commercial services of the highest quality to our predominantly international client base. We seek to provide a seamless, comprehensive and holistic service, ensuring that quality legal solutions are devised, managed and effectively delivered to our clients. It is perhaps our taglines that best capture the essence of our vision: CSB Advocates’ “Smarter Legal Solutions Start Here” and CSB Group’s “Smarter Business Starts Here”.”

Zammit & Associates – Advocates was founded in 2006 and has since been active in the areas of corporate law; finance transactions; financial services regulation; trusts and estate planning; tax; shipping, yachting & aviation; technology, media & telecommunications (TMT); iGaming; competition / antitrust regulation; intellectual property; employment and industrial relations; real estate; litigation & arbitration; and insolvency.

In May 2012, the firm has been accepted as the Maltese member firm of LNI Oasis, a worldwide network of full-service law firms. This development gives the firm access to a strong network of some of the world’s top legal professionals and creates further opportunities to attract additional business opportunities to Malta as a financial centre. The firm is also an active member in two other specialised international legal networks focusing on employment law and gaming law, namely the Employment Law Alliance and the International Masters of Gaming Law.

The rebranding coincides with CSB Group’s 25th anniversary, during which period the group has this year established a presence in London and Brazil.

CSB Group CEO Michael J.Zammit adds: “We’ve always focused on placing the customer at the centre of whatever we do, and this development is also a customer-centric exercise. We want our clients to better perceive the fact that CSB Advocates and the CSB Group are seamlessly connected, providing better communication between the respective business units, efficiency of implementation of structures and accurate co-ordination of transactions. The collective focus remains on delivering top-quality turnkey solutions through our growing team of professionals and to attract more business, particularly in the financial services, e-commerce and technology, yachting and aviation sectors to our shores.”

The change of name and rebranding has been implemented together with a change in the firm’s URL from to
