Sharon Grima joined CSB Group in December 2015 as the Credit Risk Team Leader while also assisting in Marketing initiatives of the Group. In January 2017 she moved on to the role of Marketing Manager.
Sharon is responsible for the overall Marketing Strategy of CSB Group as a brand as well as for the execution and overseeing of the various marketing initiatives. Sharon manages the company’s primary marketing channels and works hand-in-hand with the heads of each business unit to plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns.
Sharon holds a B.A. (Hons) Degree in Tourism Studies conferred by the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy of the University of Malta. In 2013 she was awarded with a Masters in Business Administration by the University of Malta with Marketing as the area of specialisation. In 2014 her Masters Thesis entitled “The effectiveness of email marketing – An empirical research on behavior of email recipients” was awarded best eBusiness Masters Dissertation by the Malta Communications Authority.
Sharon started her career with a four-year experience in the hospitality industry where her roles focused on Sales, Marketing and Events Management. For the next six years she held a leading Business Development and Marketing role with an international Business Information Bureau where her main responsibilities were to nurture relationships with foreign partners and local clients while also developing and executing the business and marketing strategy of the local branch.
