About Maria

Maria joined CSB Group's Corporate Services Unit in 2016 and as of January 2024, holds the position of Manager - Corporate Services & Banking. 

Maria is responsible for the general management and smooth running of the Corporate Services Unit. The Corporate team handles a portfolio of international clients who are provided with a wide range of services related to their Corporate Governance requirements, including company incorporations in Malta and in overseas jurisdictions, general company administration, compliance and due diligence requirements in line with regulatory authorities including the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and the Malta Business Registry (MBR). Maria is also responsible for maintaining relationships with financial institutions and acts as a point of reference for the setting up of bank accounts for clients.

Education

Maria read for a Bachelor of Commerce (Management & Banking) Degree at the University of Malta between 2003 and 2006 and thereafter furthered her studies to earn an Honors Degree, specializing in Management in 2007. She has successfully completed an Executive MBA at the University of Malta in 2012 and also completed a course on Company Law organized by the Institute of Legal Studies in Malta in 2012 as well as a training programme on Advanced Financial Advice in 2013 organized by IFS Malta.

Experience

Before joining CSB Group, Maria acquired 10 years of experience in the local Banking industry. Along the years she acquired vast experience in dealing with corporate clients and the ever-changing demands of the financial services and corporate services sectors.
