Sacha J. Farrugia is CSB Group’s Senior Manager - Business Development.
Sacha joined the Corporate Services Unit in 2009 as a Corporate Services Officer and moved on to becoming a Corporate Services Executive in 2010 where he was made responsible for assisting a wide portfolio of International clients with their Corporate Governance requirements. Such requirements included the administering of Registered Companies within his portfolio, the setting up of new Companies in Malta as well as in Overseas Jurisdictions and providing support with annual due diligence procedures and compliance requirements in co-ordination with Regulatory Authorities including the MFSA (Malta Financial Services Authority) and the MGA (Malta Gaming Authority). Since then, he has been appointed to Senior Manager - Business Development.
In his current role, Sacha is responsible for guiding clients through the company incorporation process and advising on the overarching practical considerations associated with starting a business in Malta. Acting as the first point of contact for corporate enquiries received by CSB Group, he assists clients in understanding the company registration framework, applicable corporate law requirements and the procedural steps necessary to establish and maintain compliant corporate structures.
Drawing on his extensive industry experience and in-depth knowledge of Malta's corporate landscape, Sacha works closely with clients to identify their needs and coordinate the appropriate corporate, regulatory and support services required to facilitate a smooth and efficient setup process.
Education
Sacha pursued his academic journey by enrolling in a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Management & Banking) at the University of Malta from 1999 to 2002. Following this, he continued his education, earning an Honours Degree with a specialisation in Management in 2003. In 2009, Sacha transitioned to CSB Group, having previously served as a Recruitment & Executive Search Consultant in the Investment Banking sector. Sacha also holds certification as a Trust Law and Administration practitioner, acquired through the successful completion of the Foundation Certificate in Trust Law & Management. He has also completed a course on Company Law at the Institute of Legal Studies in Malta. Building on his foundation, Sacha pursued advanced studies at the University of Law in the UK, where he obtained a Master of Laws in Company Law in 2024.
