About Jan

Jan Killips Wright, a lawyer by profession, joined CSB Group as a Regulated Industries & Compliance Advisor in 2022. In January 2024, she advanced to the role of Senior Advisor, and by October 2024, she was promoted to Manager - Legal.

She mainly assists clients with legal and compliance advice in Regulated Industries such as iGaming and Financial Services. Jan supports many clients with varied queries on licence applications, AML/CFT laws and regulations, business and customer risk assessments, and regulatory compliance in iGaming and Financial Services.

Education

Having read her Law degree at Ulster University in Belfast, United Kingdom, she was awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2015 and a Masters of Clinical Legal Education in 2016 which focused on Transitional Justice, Employment Law, Social Security Law, Tribunal Representation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. In the summer of 2017, Jan also obtained a Maltese Legal Warrant which recognised her Bachelor & Masters degrees under the Home Country Title.

Experience

Prior to joining CSB Group, Jan has gained 5 years of experience working in-house in iGaming companies, fulfilling legal and compliance roles and working across numerous jurisdictions. In addition, Jan has previously worked at a locally based law firm wherein she primarily focused on Company Law and Corporate Services.
