Michael Saliba joined CSB Group in January 2026 as a Credit Control Officer.
He is responsible for managing and monitoring customer accounts to ensure the timely payment of outstanding balances and the maintenance of healthy cash flow, proactively liaising with clients through email and other correspondence to resolve queries, following up on overdue invoices and agreeing on payment timelines, processing and accurately allocating incoming payments to keep customer ledgers up to date while promptly resolving any discrepancies, and providing financial documentation, including invoices, statements, and related correspondence, in accordance with company procedures.
Experience
Michael started his career as a Supplier Relations Manager in the hospitality industry. Michael is a finance professional with over 8 years of experience in credit control and accounts management, with a strong track record in ensuring financial accuracy, managing client relationships, and improving credit processes. As Credit Controller at one of Malta’s largest furniture stores for nearly 7 years, I managed debtor balances, enforced credit policies, resolved payment issues, prepared debtor reports, completed month-end reconciliations, and implemented improvements to reduce outstanding debts.
