In keeping with our human resources tradition, we organised our New Joiners’ Breakfast for individuals who have recently become a part of our continually expanding team. New faces from various departments were extended an invitation to join our Group CEO, Michael J. Zammit, and CSB Group directors for a breakfast gathering.
We're all familiar with the experience of starting a new job and feel the need to adjust and this is what gave rise to starting this tradition back in 2019. The New Joiners’ Breakfast serves as an opportunity for our CEO and directors to connect with newcomers, engage in discussions and getting to know each other both on a professional and personal level. This practice creates a relaxed setting for new team members to openly share their insights and any constructive feedback they might have with senior colleagues over a cup of coffee and delicious breakfast fare.
This occasion contributes to the cultivation of employee relationships, simultaneously bolstering the bedrock of our team culture. With the expansion of any organisation, comes the challenges of maintaining seamless communication and productive collaboration among teams as their member count grows and such initiatives serve as a good opportunity to foster connections that enable such communication to thrive.
As a family-run business, CSB Group, embraces each team member as an integral part of its extended family and this leads to a foundation of trust and dedication that spans across all levels within the organisation. Our aim is for our team members to consider CSB as more than just a workplace thus, we firmly believe that initiatives like these are instrumental in upholding and preserving these cherished core values.
