Meet all requirements to gain Maltese Citizenship

Property Purchase or Rental

Purchase of minimum €700,000 for a property or Real Estate situated in Malta OR a Rental of minimum €16,000 per annum. The property needs to be held for a minimum period of 5 years from the date of the certificate of citizenship.

Government Contribution

If applying after 36 months of residency, a contribution of €650,000 for the Main Applicant is required and €50,000 is added for each additional dependent. If the applicant decides to apply at the 12th month or after only a year, a contribution of €750,000 is due, plus €50,000 for each additional dependent. That is the minimum investment threshold.

Administrative Fees

Residence Application Fees include a charge of €10,000 which is a non-refundable investment from the Main Applicant. A fee of €1,000 is also required for each dependent, along with the Residence Card Fee of €27.50 per card. Due Diligence Fees comprise of €15,000 for the Main Applicant, €10,000 for adult dependents over 18 years of age, and if the applicant is sponsored, a Due Diligence fee of €15,000.  The Administrative Fee is €1,000 for each applicant.

The Citizenship Programme Application Administrative Fee is €500 per applicant. In case of residence card renewals, there will be a charge of €227.50, and for a change in address, the fee will be of €27.50.

Donation

Make a Donation of €10,000 to a local non-governmental organisation (NGO) registered with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations, or as otherwise approved by the Agency.
