Applying Employment Law in iGaming & Staying Abreast of the Latest Industry Changes


CSB Advocates is organising a seminar split on two days focusing on the theme of employment law in iGaming. The igaming industry is booming and currently employing over 8,000 people in Malta directly or indirectly. Along recent years, it has grown to become one of the strongholds of our economy.

Within such a dynamic industry, changes are happening all the time and it is imperative to stay tuned to the latest updates. The first day-session, entitled Employment – Retention and Disciplinary Actions will be held on Tuesday, 6th October at 9am while the second day-session, focusing on Privacy & Data Protection at the Work Place will be held the following week on Tuesday 13th October at 9am.

The seminar will address key highlights that are relevant to those who are directly or indirectly affected by employment law matters within the industry, including taxation and the social security system, leave, working time, retention schemes, discipline and dismissal, processing of personal data, technology at the work place and social media.

Various stakeholders such as in-house counsel, human resources professionals, corporate executives and business owners in particular are all invited to attend. In addition, CSB Advocates is also welcoming requests to cover any additional subjects not mentioned in the list. Topic suggestions should be submitted to [email protected] by the 1st of July.
