Malta and Armenia sign the Double Taxation Convention for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income


During the visit to New York, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Malta’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion Carmelo Abela signed the Double Taxation Convention, however not yet in force.

The parties were both satisfied with the dynamic dialogue between the two countries. They also expressed the importance of regular consultations between the foreign affairs ministries and stimulation of contacts in the format of parliamentary cooperation, exchange of visits, initiation of exchange programs in the educational and cultural spheres was noted.
