About Keith

Keith Kerr is CSB Group’s IT & New Projects Manager. He is responsible for the Group's IT infrastructure and related projects.

The main focus within the Group back in November 2007 was advising and assisting gaming operators wanting to set up or relocate their operations to Malta. Dealing with the process over a number of years has helped Keith to be well accustomed with the legal requirements and formalities required to pursue a remote gaming licence application with the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and benefits from close ties with the same authority. He joined CSB Group in November 2007 and was since involved in various departments within the Group, enabling Keith to advise and assist clients within various areas, including the incorporation of companies in Malta and overseas as well as their ongoing servicing, setting up of bank accounts, accounting and VAT registrations, employment procedures, credit/debit card applications and establishing merchant accounts for eBusinesses. Furthermore, he also liaised with overseas company incorporation agents to cater for the needs of the portfolio of our international clients.

Keith has over the years taken up the heading and the management of the IT infrastructure of the group to ensure this is kept in line with the business objectives, policies and procedures as well as any technical documentation being kept up-to-date. This involves planning and coordinating with other IT professionals, in order to implement the necessary technology which will assist in meeting the business objectives both effectively and reliably.

Education

Keith furthered his studies in accountancy and then successfully completed a Diploma in General Management from the Maastricht School of Management; covering various management and strategic principles. In June 2005, he completed an introductory certificate in Trust Law & Administration. He also attended a seminar in relation to ‘The International Aspects of Trust and Companies’ recognized by the ‘Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’. In July 2012, the CISA Certification Committee approved Keith’s application and he was awarded the Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) designation following the successful completion of the course content and examination in June 2011.

Experience

Keith worked in an international multi-disciplinary independent financial services firm, for over 6 years, acting as the financial controller of the Malta operation. Preceding this, he was an Accounts Executive with a shipping company.
