About Luana

Luana Agius is a lawyer by profession and joined CSB in October 2022 as a Junior Regulated Industries Advisor. In January 2024, she was promoted to Legal Advisor.

She currently forms part of the Shipping & Yachting department and assists the Commercial & Corporate department.

Education

Luana was conferred a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malta in 2020, following the successful submission of her Dissertation entitled ‘A comparative analysis between the interpretation of in loco parentis under English law and that under Maltese law’. Thereafter, she read for and graduated with a degree in Master of Advocacy from the University of Malta in 2021.

Memberships & Affiliations

Luana is admitted to the Maltese Bar, Superior Courts of Malta. She is also a member of the Malta Maritime Law Association.

Experience

Luana has been an active legal professional since 2018, having entered into this field as a trainee with a highly respected litigation law firm in Valletta, Malta wherein she has had the opportunity to work on various tasks in diverse fields of law, including civil law, employment law, and corporate and commercial law.
