About Miguel

Miguel Calleja Sarreo joined CSB Group in April 2026 as an Accounts Executive.

He is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and serving as the main point of contact for accounting matters, while maintaining accurate financial records and preparing management accounts and financial reports. He also prepares quarterly VAT returns in line with Maltese regulations, performs reconciliations, assists with year-end financial preparation and external audits, and ensures client queries and reporting deadlines are handled efficiently.

Education

Miguel is a Maltese accounting professional currently in the final stage of his ACCA qualification.

Experience

He began his career at the Ministry of Health as a Contact Tracer and was later promoted to Medical Council Assistant, gaining valuable administrative and regulatory experience.

He then joined one of the Big Four and worked in IT Audit, where he worked for over two years, developing strong skills in auditing, financial reporting, and compliance. Most recently, he worked as a Client Accounts Executive with a local Corporate Service Provider, managing client portfolios and preparing financial statements.
