About Hemswarna

Hemswarna Devi Aubeelakhoo, also known as Yashna, joined CSB Group in January 2025 as an Accounts Officer within the Client Accounting Department.

In her role, she supports the accounting team in managing client portfolios. Her responsibilities include preparing VAT returns for senior review and submission, posting transactions into accounting systems, reconciling supplier and debtor balances, and coordinating with auditors, the Tax and VAT Departments, and the Malta Business Registry. She also liaises with the tax administration team on the preparation of tax computations, returns, refunds, and other related matters.

Education

Yashna has successfully completed the Applied Knowledge level of the ACCA qualification and is currently advancing through the Applied Skills level. Her goal is to attain full ACCA membership.

Experience

Before joining CSB Group, she gained experience in corporate accounting and liquidation services in Malta, with exposure to sectors such as technology, data solutions, funds, and investments. In Mauritius, she worked as an Audit Associate and Corporate Accounting Associate, handling client engagements across the Middle East and Africa.
