CSB Group contributes to The Children in Need Foundation

CSB Group strives to maintain an unwavering dedication to charitable fundraising and upholding the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which form an integral part of the company's culture. The Group recognises that it has a role to play beyond its business operations and aims to contribute to the well-being of society at large.

The Group has recently contributed to The Children in Need Foundation, a charitable organisation set up to raise funds for the support of the physical, mental, social, or educational needs of children who are at a disadvantage.

The foundation has undertaken numerous projects over the years that have positively impacted the welfare of children. Some notable examples of these initiatives include the Guardian Angel Initiative through which 13 schools are being financially supported with any needs that disadvantaged children might require, the building and equipping of an educational centre for children with learning disabilities as well as sending terminally/seriously sick children together with their families on holiday to give them a sense of joy post trauma.

The Children in Need Foundation is currently working on a three-year project with the aim of building resilience and mental wellbeing for children currently living in residential and foster care through the consistent provision of high-quality psychotherapy. The foundation will be hiring psychotherapist for a period of at least 3 years, whose services will then be provided to Fondazzjoni Sebh. The annual estimated cost for providing support to the 41 children and 90 staff members will require an annual investment of €150,000.
