Simon Mangion joined CSB Group in November 2026 as a Senior Advisor – Legal.
He assists clients with legal and compliance advice relating to regulated industries, supporting businesses operating in highly regulated sectors. Simon advises on a broad range of regulatory matters, with particular focus on iGaming.
Education
Simon graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree in 2019 and a Master of Advocacy degree in 2020. He was called to the Maltese Bar in 2020. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialisation in Intellectual Property Law from the University of London.
Experience
Simon began his legal career at one of Malta’s leading law firms, forming part of the Corporate and M&A team, where he was involved in corporate transactions, restructurings, and advisory work across various industries. He subsequently spent three years at CSB Group as a Legal Advisor, advising clients on corporate law, regulated industries, and intellectual property matters. Simon later acted as in-house IP Counsel for one of the largest international software providers, overseeing trademark portfolio management, IP protection strategies, and commercial IP-related negotiations across multiple jurisdictions.

Simon is a member of the Chamber of Advocates and is admitted to the Maltese Bar, Superior Courts of Malta.
