CSB Group celebrates its founder’s 70th Birthday

In honour of its chairman, Mr Tony Zammit, CSB Group organised an office celebration where everyone gathered to extend their best wishes on his 70^th Birthday.

Mr Zammit founded CSB Group back in 1987 and opened its first two roomed office in Old Bakery Street, Valletta with its primary business focus at the time being Recruitment, subsequently branded as VacancyCentre and Debt Collection, first company in Malta to offer this service and also with an out of court approach together with Business Information Reports. His foresight of the Service industry, his reputation, patience and dedication allowed the company to reach success and eventually become an expert and leader in its areas of specialisation. Early in the days Mr Zammit welcomed his son Mr Michael J. Zammit, today’s CSB Group CEO, to the company with his first role being a Debt Collector and Invoicing Clerk. Michael, at the time 17 years old, was adamant to follow his father’s footsteps and shared the vision of growing the company’s operations.

Mr Zammit has always seen great value in his son and the modest team of professionals he used to employ in Valletta. He invested in them by acting as their mentor and leader, and encouraged everyone to contribute and be part of the company’s success. Michael soon became his right hand and got heavily involved in expanding the business by venturing into providing new areas of service. CSB soon became one of the top providers of corporate services and fiduciary services, accounting and general tax administration, and eventually became a leader in iGaming applications being one of the first providers of consultancy support services since the iGaming industry’s inception in Malta.

CSB Group progressed to reaching new heights by introducing Regus to Malta in 2009 to offer serviced offices / co-working spaces and Sotheby’s International Realty in 2013. Today Regus successfully operates a centre in Swatar, another one in St Julian’s and will soon be inaugurating a third centre in another prime location in St Julian’s . Malta Sotheby’s International Realty operates from two offices, one along Tower Road in Sliema and another in the Portomaso Marina, St Julian’s. Today Malta Sotheby’s has become one of the leaders for luxury property on the Maltese Islands.

Mr Zammit looks back with pride to the days when he founded CSB and to see his Group become what it is today – a Professional and Trusted Corporate Services Provider that offers services of exceptional standards led by a dedicated management team and represented by 85+ professionals.

To date Mr Zammit is one of the first to get to the office and it is custom for him to go round the offices to wish everyone a good morning. Not only for being the Group’s Chairman but also for his approachable nature and wise advice that he enjoys passing on, Mr Zammit is highly respected by all and a true gentlemen. On this special occasion, we all sincerely wish him all the very best and auger him many more healthy and prosperous years.
