A key highlight discussed throughout the visit was the launch of Delta Air Lines’ new direct route between New York and Malta, commencing this June. The visit also included a meeting at the Consulate General of Malta in New York with Consul General Denise Demicoli. Discussions underscored the strong and historic ties between Malta and the United States, including a Maltese community of approximately 45,000 individuals in New York. The meeting further explored opportunities to promote Malta as a destination for relocation, investment, and international business.
