Robert Sultana joins CSB Group recruitment arm – vacancycentre as General Manager, with responsibilities to manage the strategic & operational recruitment business function.
He holds an interesting array of work experiences, has in-depth knowledge of the international recruitment practices, he is versed particularly with developments within the financial sector and has had pragmatic past experiences of managing a business.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from the University of Malta. He later on qualified with a post-graduate qualification from the University of London with an MSc in International Business, followed by other technical and non-technical certificate courses revolving around pensions, insurance, trading & investments. A passionate FinTech supporter and tech enthusiast, Robert likes to keep abreast of developments in the world of trading & investments, especially when coupling such sectorial focuses to developments in data analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Robert has worked across various sectorial industries such as insurance and investments, and extensively in areas of financial learning & development – performing various functions across sales, business development & advisory. Acting as head for a local prestigious financial training body he served to strengthen affiliations with the London-based Institute of Bankers whilst developing additional new relations with other reputable foreign awarding bodies. These developments paved the way for the introduction and offering of technical courses to the Maltese market on subjects like Fund Administration, Regulation, Risk & Wealth Management. Throughout recent years he shifted his working focus onto recruitment acting as Regional Partner for an international executive recruitment firm where he had the opportunity to build long- lasting relations with professionals across Europe & MENA region. Following this enriching journey today he joins the vacancycentre team to continue driving forward the business success of the brand.
